Trade the equipment you have into the equipment you want. SilverChef now allow trade-in’s for eligible used equipment from customers.

SilverChef Trade In allows customers to sell assets they already own to SilverChef as part of a transaction where you are also committing to new funding.

Research by SilverChef showed "39% of customers decision to purchase is due to needing to upgrade an existing piece of equipment"

How it helps your hospitality business

•    Customers signing up to a new RTB or LTK contract can now unlock cash tied up in the equipment they already own by selling those assets to SilverChef with Trade In.
•    This provides you with a cash flow boost that can be used to grow your business.
•    No hassle in trying to sell any old equipment in the 2nd hand market. SilverChef organises the freight as part of the transaction negotiated with the Silver Chef certified used team.

To be eligible for Trade In

•    Trade In equipment must be Standard equipment only
•    Must be part of a transaction where you settle a new RTB or LTK contract as part of the same transaction
•    The total Trade-In value must not exceed the value of new assets to be funded under the transaction
•    You will need to provide information such as the original invoice for the equipment and photos of the equipment demonstrating the condition of the assets.
•    The Trade-In value (the price SilverChef will pay) of equipment will be assessed on a case-by-case basis by the Certified Used team. The evaluation process may take into consideration the condition of the assets along with internal and external data to determine the value of that equipment to SilverChef. For each Trade In deal, the Certified Used sales team will perform an evaluation of the assets using the information provided by the customer.

Information for Evaluation Process:

The below forms a framework to inform the Certified Used team on the condition of the assets. At the discretion of Certified Used, some of the below information may not be required.

    4    Show all included accessories
5    Highlight any scratches, dents, or cosmetic defects

Additionally, you may be requested to provide the following:
