Coffeeing Up for the Homeless

On August 5th Cafes will be donating $1 per coffee to help fund local grassroots homeless projects.We are teaming up with a generous bunch of cafes and coffee roasters to bring you our new event CafeSmart on the 5th August. Cafes around Australia will be firing up their coffee machines to help fund grassroots homeless projects in their suburb or region. For one day around Australia these cafes will donate $1 per coffee to StreetSmart. The 5th August falls in Homeless Person’s Week (1-7th August) and shows how small businesses can really make a positive contribution to helping people who are homeless at a local level. We encourage cafes to join up on line or give Adam a call on 03 9836 1887.Cafes are being supported by roasters including All Press, Di Bella, 5 Senses and more are coming on board all the time.We’ll be asking the public to support the day and make sure they and their friends buy a coffee (or two) on the day at the participating cafes.
